What is NagTab?
NagTab is a Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with a single task displayed in large text. It is designed to help users with ADHD and focus challenges stay on track.
Data collection
NagTab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.
Data storage
NagTab stores only the text of your current task using Chrome's built-in sync storage (chrome.storage.sync). This data:
- Is stored locally on your device and synced via your Google account (the same way Chrome syncs bookmarks and settings)
- Is never sent to any external server
- Is never shared with any third party
- Contains only the task text you type (no metadata, no analytics, no identifiers)
Permissions
NagTab requests only the storage permission, which is used to save and retrieve your current task across browser sessions.
Third-party services
NagTab loads the Inter font from Google Fonts for typography. This is the only external resource loaded. Google Fonts does not use cookies. Google's privacy policy applies to that service.
Analytics & tracking
NagTab does not include any analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or advertising of any kind.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be included with the extension update and reflected on this page.
